What information do we collect?

During registration, the mobile application may request credentials to verify the identity of the user attempting to register. This information is transmitted directly to the organization with which the application is being used and is processed according to that organization's policies and procedures.

What Permissions Does the Application Require?

The application requires access to the camera in order to register a new device using a QR code or to scan QR codes during authentication or signature approval processes.

Push notification permission is requested in order to receive authentication, signature, or messaging requests.

Why Does the Application Use Push Notifications?

Push notifications are used to request out-of-band authentication, signature, or messaging confirmations from the user.

How Are Push Notifications Delivered?

Safewalk Fast Auth uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), a service provided by Google, to deliver authentication, signature, and messaging notifications to registered mobile devices. To enable notification delivery, the application registers for push notifications and receives a unique push notification token. This token is a technical identifier used solely to route push notifications to the correct application instance. No passwords, authentication secrets, authentication credentials, message contents, signature contents, or approval details are transmitted to Firebase Cloud Messaging as part of the notification delivery process.

Push notifications may be disabled at any time through the device settings. However, users may then need to manually open the application to view and approve pending authentication, signature, or messaging requests.

Firebase Cloud Messaging is not used by Safewalk Fast Auth for advertising, user profiling, behavioral tracking, or analytics purposes.

Firebase Cloud Messaging is provided by Google and may process technical information required for notification delivery in accordance with Google's applicable privacy and service terms.

Organization-managed notification infrastructure

The organization that uses Safewalk Fast Auth operates the corresponding authentication server with which the application communicates. Organizations are strongly encouraged to use a dedicated Firebase Cloud Messaging account that is owned, administered, and managed by the organization for the delivery of push notifications. This allows the organization to retain full administrative control over its notification infrastructure and associated credentials.

How is application data protected?

Sensitive application data is stored securely using the iOS Keychain.

Do we disclose any information to outside parties?

We do not sell or share personal information for advertising, marketing, profiling, or tracking purposes. Certain technical identifiers required for push notification delivery may be processed by Firebase Cloud Messaging solely to provide notification services.
